Price data disclaimer

Manshoe’s figures come from price indexes of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. An index tracks the average change in price of comparable items across many stores and cities. It does not give the price of a specific model, brand or store.

• Estimates, not quotes. A calculator result shows what a typical pair would cost if its price had moved with the index. Actual prices for any product can be higher or lower.
• Not an appraisal. The figures say nothing about the resale or collectible value of old shoes.
• Not advice. Nothing on the site is financial, legal, tax or purchasing advice. Seasonal patterns are averages from past years and do not promise lower prices in any month.
• Revisions and gaps. BLS revises some series, and some months are missing (October 2025 was not collected). Our pages update nightly and may change.
• No endorsement. Manshoe is independent. BLS has not reviewed or endorsed this site. BLS.gov cannot vouch for the data or analyses derived from these data after the data have been retrieved from BLS.gov.
